Dr. Amirtahà Taebi is an Assistant Professor of Bioengineering and an affiliated faculty member at the Center for Community-Driven Assistive Technologies at Lehigh University. He is a recipient of the National Science Foundation (NSF) CAREER award (2024) and was named an ASME Rising Star of Mechanical Engineering (2024). Additionally, he was recognized as the runner-up for the North American Artery Society Career Development Award (2026). His previous honors include an honorable mention for the Skalak Award by the ASME Bioengineering Division and selection as a 2025 Lehigh University Faculty Fellow to the United Nations.
