Rawane Ait Tahar is a Ph.D. student in Bioengineering at Lehigh University, specializing in the intersection of biomedical engineering, artificial intelligence, and cardiovascular health. She holds an engineering degree from Grenoble-INP Phelma, where she focused on biomedical imaging and machine learning. Prior to her doctoral studies, she completed a research internship at CEA-Leti, where she developed an end-to-end deep learning pipeline, utilizing Faster R-CNN models, to detect, annotate, and classify patient-derived pancreatic organoids from differential phase contrast microscopy. She brings expertise in computer vision, optical imaging, and computational bioengineering to advance research in cardiovascular mechanics and health.
