Pervez Musharraf, Dave Eggers, Paul Bowles, No Verbs

Via Brey: Pervez Musharraf. Not much of substance, except a diplomatic hint about the war in Iraq's unpopularity with Muslims worldwide. Also many vague, Tom Friedmany platitudes about enlightenment.

[Note to self: less long-winded please. And fewer platitudes. Or you a Tom too]

Better: this collection of high school teachers' voices by Dave Eggers in Mother Jones. Underpaid high school teachers? Surprise, surprise.

Little Professor's piece today on Paul Bowles' The Sheltering Sky. An unread book: afraid of the dream-sequences about erotic turbaned foreigners, hookahs and hashish. Still no plans for it.

And Scott McLemee, verb-free.
