Macedonia's fake terrorist plot
Almost no one has covered it. Certainly, no one has given it first page attention yet. But the government of Macedonia has done something truly heinous, exploiting both hysteria about terrorism and the likelihood that a small group of undocumented dark-skinned men would not be missed.
The government of Macedonia should go down for this, and everyone concerned should go to prison.

This explains a rather cryptic post by Chun the Unavoidable from a couple days ago, in which he asserts that "it's not just the Macedonians."
Chun is cryptic (often), but in this case he does give a link to the same story. Maybe it wasn't there initially? It's there now...
How awful. This is exactly what stupid ideas like "the war on terror" lead to.
The link was probably there the whole time -- I just didn't notice it the first time I saw the post.
