Research Lab Technician

The research laboratory technician is expected to perform molecular biology experiments and be accountable for the management and operation of the lab under the general instruction and supervision of the Assistant Professor. The person in this position is responsible for overseeing and training student researchers on a daily basis to ensure safety and that all protocols are followed. This person helps maintain laboratory organization and promotes compliance with guidelines on a daily basis. The Laboratory Technician is also accountable for purchasing, maintaining and organizing lab supplies.

Academic Coordinator

The Academic Coordinator supports the academic programs and student records for seven undergraduate majors, two minors, a MS Distance Education program and PhD programs with the help of faculty leaders for each program. The successful candidate will interact with the Dean's Office, Registrar, Admissions, International Students and Distance Education offices to exchange information and effectively manage student records.
