Personal Relevancy  
Insight: Team members usually come away with a more unified understanding of design expectations when simple conceptual drawings are made, as compared to when verbal or written descriptions are used. Putting theory into action

The Gestalt theory and visual literacy had great personal relevancy as I started my career as a graphic designer. I found was able to gain consensus on a design approach much more quickly when I presented simple line drawings of proposed concepts.

Consequently, when I delivered the finished design, it usually met the expectations of the client who had retained a basic mental image of what was expected.
