An anorthosite particle - anorthosite is a type of rock that is typically the lunar highlands. This particle is thought to have been transported down to the Sea of Tranquility by successive meteor impacts. This particle contains both plagioclase and pyroxene. The iron and calcium concentration varies considerably across the particle.
