Message From The Director

The Energy Liaison Program (ELP) has been an integral part of the Energy Research Center (ERC) since 1978. The program establishes a close technical partnership between power generation and allied industry members with the ERC. Members often view the Energy Research Center and the ELP to be an extension of their in-house engineering resources.

The Energy Research Center has a professional staff focused on research, development and solving power generation and allied industry problems. Additionally, faculty from across university disciplines participate in ELP projects when a project requires their particular expertise. For example, key engineering departments for partnering include mechanical, chemical, materials science, electrical and computer, civil and environmental, and industrial.

The ERC staff and faculty are grounded in engineering fundamentals and are highly experienced in applied research and development; this is a powerful combination for solving industry problems. We welcome your interest and future participation in the ELP. Please contact me or John Sale directly with any comments or questions.
