It gives me great pleasure to provide you an overview of the services, programs, offices and the very dedicated and talented professionals that comprise the Lehigh University Dean of Students team.

Our staff is committed to promoting a campus environment that fosters academic success, personal growth and student development. We encourage students to actively pursue their academic and life goals. The departments within the Dean of Students Office advance the university's educational mission by extending the learning environment beyond the classroom through a variety of programs and activities that make the Lehigh student experience a distinctively rewarding one.

As a part of the division of Student Affairs, the Dean of Students departments concentrate their efforts toward five strategic initiatives:

Integrate academic and student life
Provide opportunities for students to develop essential life skills
Foster an inclusive, equitable environment
Cultivate an empowered and engaged campus community
Promote a healthy, safe campus community

We value our students and strive to provide services, programs and opportunities that meet their needs. In addition to fostering both personal development and a sense of responsibility in our students, our office strives as an advocate for student issues, needs and concerns; responds to emergency and crisis situations that affect our students; and assists students in preparing for their lives beyond Lehigh.
