Welcome

I recently obtained my PhD in Mathematics from the University of Kansas (KU), and I am currently the C. C. Hsiung Visiting Assistant Professor at Lehigh University. I am passionate about investing in students and helping them succeed inside and outside the classroom. I also enjoy making technical math results approachable to general audiences, which I have previously done through my YouTube channel.

I study the existence, stability, and dynamics of nonlinear waves in partial differential equations arising from applications. For more information about my research, as well as my recent and upcoming conferences, please check out my Research Page.

I am the recent recipient of the 2021 Bernstein Award for Future Faculty, which is awarded by KU's Center for Teaching Excellence. The award recognizes and honors one KU graduate student each year who has approached their teaching as an inquiry into learning and who is pursuing a career in academia.

If you are interested in more details about my education, professional experience, etc, then please check out my CV.
