The Matlab and R routines for the parabolic, hyperbolic and elliptic PDEs 
discussed in http://www.scholarpedia.org/article/partial_differential_equations,
Part 4, are included in this directory.  Specifically,

Parabolic:  pde1.m, pde1.R

Hyperbolic: pde2.m, pde2.R

Elliptic:   pde3.m, pde3.R

These routines should execute by copying and pasting them into a Matlab or R 
workspace (at the prompt).  Only basic versions of Matlab and R are required 
(no toolboxes, other files, downloads, etc.).  Documentation for the routines 
is included in the Scholarpedia article.
