Lehigh has undergone a major restructuring over the last year. A year ago, Lehigh had six distinct organization which have been merged into three major groups. WIRED was originated under the Academic Computing group, with major funding and wiring done by the Telecommunications group. Residential Services was involved to the extent that they knew that they wanted computing available in the Residence Halls and Academic Computing sold them on the wonders of networking and the Internet.
