Parent Scholarships

This scholarship opportunity is a welcome addition to our conference once again this year. The generosity of the following individual haa made it possible for the awarding of a parent scholarships:

Dr. Gina Scala, Pennsylvania Council for Administrators of Special Education

This scholarship is limited to timely applications from individuals who meet these two threshold requirements for consideration. The individual must:
1) a parent of a child with a disability from pre-K to grade 12
2) agree to complete, and turn in the evaluations at the end of the conference

If you are interested in being considered for a parent scholarship, please send an e-mail to specialseminars@lehigh.edu by April 15, 2018. The email should contain, in the subject heading, "PARENT SCHOLARSHIP" and should include, in its text, your contact information, if you are employed full- or part-time, and one or more paragraphs explaining to the donor(s) why you feel you should receive one of the five scholarships. A priority in the selection process are those who demonstrate a real need. (Please be aware that the scholarships do not include cost of travel or accomodations.)

The selected individual will be notified on April 7, 2018. The receipients will also be recognized on our website and at the conference.
