There are mainly two results to be extracted from SAS for report writing. One is list output (plain text with extention "lst"), the other is plot (high resolution).
1. Output window:
It is not convenient to use COPY/PASTE in SAS output. So, we need to save it as list file first. The way to save result in Output window is: activate Output window--> Click File on menu bar --> Click "Save" label --> Specify filename with type: list --> Click OK.
Next, open it in any word processor to modify it.
2. Plots:
After you got the plots you want, activate Graph window--> Click File on menu bar --> Click "Export as Image" label --> Specify filename with type: bmp, jpg, ps, ... --> Click OK
Note: There is another option for creating SAS result --HTML format. Simply click "Tool" on menu bar --> Options --> Preferences -->Results --> Check "Creating HTML". Then whenever you generate output in SAS, it will automatically create corresponding HTML output as well. It is convenient for posting results on web. For you, it is another choice for generating your report if you are familiar with HTML editing.
