Visit to PwC's NYC Office By Brooke Huntington

A few weeks ago, the Lehigh Accounting Club had the exciting opportunity to visit PwC's New York City office for an afternoon of learning, networking, and career insights.

From the moment we arrived, the PwC team made us feel welcome and engaged. Professionals from both the Digital Audit Tools (DAT) and Tax practices shared their perspectives on what their work looks like day-to-day and how technology is shaping the future of the profession. Their insights helped give our members a clearer picture of the diverse career paths available within accounting and how each role contributes to PwC's broader mission of solving complex business challenges.

One of the most valuable parts of the visit was PwC's dedication to tailoring advice to where each of us stands in our academic journey. For juniors, the conversation focused on the different options still available. For sophomores and freshmen, PwC emphasized the importance of starting early, building strong connections, and making networking a natural part of professional development. The message was clear: opportunities are everywhere if you know how to seek them out.

Special thanks to Professor Manzo for bringing the amazing cheesecake brownies, and to PwC for generously hosting us and taking the time to mentor and inspire the next generation of accounting professionals.
