As summer gets underway, take a moment to learn about the TRAC Writing Fellow Program’s 10th anniversary, refreshed and modernized study spaces in the EWFM Library, and a new feature-packed Gmail redesign! In addition, read about our recent Diversity & Inclusion events where we explored the international student experience.

Teaching & Learning

Lehigh’s Technology, Research, and Communication (TRAC) Writing Fellows Program celebrates its 10th anniversary this year. In this documentary, you will hear from program director Greg Skutches, Rauch Center for Business Communications director Jim Santanasto, and student TRAC Fellows on how the peer tutoring program enriches writing across the curriculum.

Libraries

• Friends, faculty, and colleagues gathered in the Linderman Library rotunda on May 16 to honor Christy Roysdon on her upcoming retirement and to recognize her many contributions to scholarly research and devoted service to the Lehigh Libraries during her near 40 year career. • The EWFM Library transformation is complete! New carpeting and furniture has been installed on both the 4th and 5th floors and we welcomed the new Lehigh Art Galleries Pedro Meyers exhibition in early June. Swing by to have a look! Technology

• Google recently announced a significant and feature-packed Gmail redesign.The new web interface is available for Lehigh users to test drive (and adopt early). Read about 7 new Gmail features and how to use them or watch a video explanation.
• Introducing the EWFM Computing Center Virtual Tour: This mobile-friendly, 360-degree tour orients you to key areas of the Computing Center, including the first floor student study space and computer lab. Take the tour now!
• Dropbox for Business has been available to faculty and staff since 2015. In response to recent questions about the service, we’ve prepared a comprehensive review that covers the university’s cloud computing policy, the differences between the types and pricing of Dropbox plans, how to request a Dropbox for Business account, and more.
