Financial Support for Short-Term Study Abroad

The Dean of the P.C. Rossin College of Engineering and Applied Science has established a fund to provide financial support for engineering students participating in an approved short-term Lehigh Study Abroad program. The fund is intended to defray costs associated with Lehigh courses (i.e., led by Lehigh faculty members) undertaken by students as part of a short-term Study Abroad experience.

Students must submit the following materials to apply:

  • Travel Grant Application
  • Signature of Endorsement from the Faculty Leader on application, and
  • a one-page letter of request that demonstrates financial need and explains why the study abroad opportunity is important to the student's academic development

Applications will be considered after the application deadline dates: September 21 (Winter programs and February 1 (Summer programs). Application with faculty endorsement and letter of request must be submitted to:
