Since you will have regular, daily assignments -- for example, to the discussion board -- attendance is determined by whether or not your work is "there" on a specific day or within three class days after.

Think of our discussion board, for instance, as a "classroom."

Much of the course is interactive, so "being there" together and being there "on time" is very important.

If you post more than three days late, the class has moved on, and there is no one to "hear" you.

Because consistent and prompt participation is so important to an online class, especially one striving to be a community of learners, poor attendance will affect your performance.

If significant attendance problems arise, please contact Gallagher by email.
