Prof. Israel Wachs delivers keynote lectures at
international  symposia

Professor Israel Wachs, the Whitney Snyder Professor of Chemical and Biomolecular Engineering recently delivered keynote lectures at the following international conferences:

(1) 1st International Conference on Advances in Functional materials took place at Stony Brook University. The conference aimed to encompass a large number of topics on the field of functional materials. Topics such as Advances in; Multifunctional Composite materials, Thin Films, Polymers and Ceramics, Energy Storage and Conversion Devices, Biosensors and Biomaterials and Catalysis were highlighted along with other topics; Low dimensional, Nano and 2D materials and Nano MOX sensors

(2) 5th International Operando Spectroscopy Conference met in Deauville, France. This conference covered all aspects of operando spectroscopy of catalysts: both heterogeneous and homogeneous catalysis, application of theory, new experimental approaches and techniques, time and spatial resolution, and combination of techniques.
