The numerical grade for the class will be based on ~5 homework
assignments, 1 midterm and 1 final exam.
Your letter grades will be assigned according
to the following distribution:

grade of the top of the class.

There are NO make up tests or
assignments. Persons having a medical excuse or chronic medical problem should
come and see the instructor.
2.
Assignments are take-home. Exams can be either
take-home or in-person.
3.
Assignments and exams must be your own work! Cases of copying, cheating and fraud
will be treated as ACADEMIC DISHONESTY. You cannot talk with other students
about assignments and exams. You must then do the problems by yourself.
