Course Objective:
Linear analysis of mechanical, hydraulic and electrical feedback control systems by root locus, frequency response, and state space techniques. A design project provides experience with practical issues and tradeoffs.
Intended for engineers with a variety of backgrounds. Examples will
be drawn from mechanical, electrical and chemical engineering applications.
MATLAB and SIMULINK are used extensively during the course for the analysis, design and
simulation.
