Cameroon Visit - 18 June to 14 August, 2003

Thanks to the generosity of the Rotary Foundation, which awarded me a University Teacher Grant, Janice and I returned to Cameroon for a two month stay. I used the funds to bring used computers to the University of Buea (UB). I intended to spend my time at UB helping set up the computers and giving short courses in computer science topics which would be of benefit to the UB faculty and staff. I was able to give the short courses, but the computers arrived on campus on Friday 29 August. By then Janice and I had returned home.

Thanks to a long list, of people, I ended up shipping 50 PC's, 40 monitors, etc. to Cameroon.

While in Cameroon I had good access to the internet. Every few days I wrote a report on my stay. Below are links to those reports.
