Department of Mathematical Sciences
Applications are invited for a Visiting Assistant Professorship.
Appointment will begin in September 2004 and will be for one year,
renewable for a second year. Teaching load will be six quarter-classes per
year. The department has a graduate program offering both MS and PhD
degrees with concentration in mathematics and statistics. The Department of
Mathematical Sciences is dedicated to excellence in both research and
teaching. Candidates should have evidence of high-quality teaching skills
as well as strong research potential in an area of mathematics closely
related to the areas of expertise of current faculty.
