I have a question for the list:
For all simply connected Lie groups G, one has P^p P^1 H^3(G;Z_p)
lies in the image of P^1 where the P's are the Steenrod operations
at odd primes p.
Does anyone know any homotopy theoretic proof for this for finite
H-spaces? Or any ideas on how one might approach this question?
