Subject: question From: adel george Date: Mon, 18 Sep 2006 09:21:51 -0700 (PDT) From:Dr.George,Adel A. Please post the following question: Are there any known conditions that insure that if {G(i):i in I} is an inverse system of finite dimensional connected Lie groups with continuous open surjective connection maps which are NOT necessirly group homomorphisms, where I doesnot neccessirly have a countable cofinal subset ,then the inverse limit is non-empty? Thank you.
