Does anyone know anything about the Vietoris of Mayer-Vietoris sequence? An
Austrian colleague told me he is one of Austria's oldest people. There does
not appear to be anything on the St Andrews history site. The Maths
Genealogy Project lists a Leopold Vietoris.
