LyX developers gallery

LyX Developers

The idea here is to get a bunch of pictures of the developers of LyX and showcase them here. I have pictures of only two of the crowd so far.

  • Matthias Ettrich ettrich@informatik.uni-tuebingen.de. He also has a web-page Matthias' LyX Site. He is the originator of LyX (originally called LyriX untile he received e-mail from a lqawyer) He wrote on his own the early LyX-versions, various improvements including undo/redo and tables.
  • Alejandro Aguilar Sierra E-mail: asierra@servidor.unam.mx fast parsing with lyxlex, pseudoactions mathpanel, Math Editor combox and more
  • Asger Alstrup Nielsen alstrup@diku.dk joined the LyX effort in the first half of 1996. Since then, the typical patch profile from Asger ranges over various technical aspects such as optimization, bug-fixes, and bug-introduction to the more fuzzy logic usability enhancements and flying colors. As you can see he likes to have a smoke, especially with a cold beer, preferable Danish, in the immediate vicinity. He plans to stay on the LyX train as long as it is fun, and he looks forward to the all-star LyX tour around the world, hopefully sponsored by you. He also has a web-page Asger's LyX Site. Which picture is the real Asger?

My, this is out of date. Those developers who weren't listed, take note. This is what is in the CREDITS file, except for Weiss, and I made that up.
