Plumbing

The PLUMBING inside skyscrapers are pipes that circulate water around to the kitchens and bathrooms for sinks, water fountains, toilets, and even sprinkers in the ceilings that spray water down in case of a fire. Plumbing moves water around a skyscraper like our ORGANS move fluids around in our bodies.

HVAC

HVAC--which stands for HEATING, VENTILATING, AND AIR CONDITIONING--is the term builders use for all of the big ducts and machinery that pump air throughout the skyscraper. The ducts are connected to huge heaters and air conditioners that push air to the rooms, like our LUNGS push air in and out of our bodies.
