The effects of Hurricane Floyd hit Eastern Pennsylvania during the end of the week of September 12, 1999.  The greatest amount of precipitation was seen on Thursday, September 16. 7.1” of rain was collected by the rain gauge on the roof of Williams Hall that day.  As expected, the highest stream discharge for that week was recorded on this day.
