Shark Report 

You arrive at the scene of the attack.  It’s not hard to find since there is a huge mob of people crowding around.  You’re walking on the beach and can see what is at the center of the mob.  It’s a dead shark!  Someone had wrestled the shark to shore and shot it in the head to kill it!  All around you, people are shouting and furious about what happened to the boy.  You hear someone behind you say, “Something like this should never have happened to a little boy!  All sharks should be hunted down!  What purpose do they serve anyway!  Let’s kill all the sharks!”  In response, you hear some more shouting and similar statements.  As a marine science specialist, do you agree with this statement?  Record your thoughts and explain your reasoning in your notes.
