As developments in computer hardware continue to advance, an increasing number of machine learning algorithms become feasible solutions to challenges in research and in industry. The purpose of this project is to develop machine learning algorithms capable of learning and subsequently recognizing an arbitrary 2-dimensional symbol and optimizing its own resource consumption to facilitate deployment on mobile devices with limited computational and memory capabilities.
