Subject: Re: coalgebra/operad experts Date: Fri, 13 Jul 2001 15:33:01 +0100 (BST) From: Nige Ray Dear Justin (and all topologists!), Why not try Homology, Homotopy and Applications? I am currently a managing editor, and can confirm that the subject matter of your paper is just right! I was about to publicise this journal amongst topologists anyway - it started out as a Georgian electronic journal under Hvedri Inassaridze, and now has Gunnar Calsson as Editor-in-Chief. Hard copy is also published ... See the (mirror) website at www.bangor.ac.uk/hha/ and take it from there - you can submit to any editor you wish ... The Front includes a list of generally high-quality journals that take submissions directly from the math arXiv: http://front.math.ucdavis.edu/journals Of the journals listed here, the best match for your paper could be Homology, Homotopy, and Applications. Regardless of whether you choose one of the journals in this list, I recommend contributing your paper to the math arXiv before submitting it to a journal to help protect your distribution interests. I also strongly recommend reviewing the journal's copyright agreement beforehand. The journals page at the Front has a collection of hyperlinks to publishers' copyright agreements. In my opinion, HHA's agreement is exemplary. -- /\ Greg Kuperberg (UC Davis) / \ \ / Visit the Math ArXiv Front at http://front.math.ucdavis.edu/ \/ * All the math that's fit to e-print *
