The Department of Mathematics in collaboration with the Center for Innovation in Teaching & Learning (CITL) is pleased to announce a HPC Workshop on Parallel Programming geared towards Women in Science & Engineering. The workshop will be held on May 31 and June 1 in EWFM CITL Commons from 9:00 AM to 5:00 PM.
The workshop will consist of a series of lectures and invited talks with ample amount of time for hands-on exercises on Lehigh's High Performance Computing Cluster, Sol. The workshop will introduce users to Parallel Programming Concepts, OpenMP, OpenACC and MPI Programming. Attendees are expected to have some programming experience, C/C++ or Fortran is preferred and familiarity with using a *nix system is beneficial.

For those feeling left out, Lehigh will serve as a satellite site for the XSEDE HPC Summer Boot Camp covering parallel programming topics on June 6-9. More details will follow at a later time.
