LVAIC Information Literacy Symposium
Inquiry in the Information Age: Information Literacy as Critical Thinking

The 1st LVAIC Information Literacy Symposium will be held May 18, 2017 9:30am-4pm at Moravian College in Bethlehem, PA. This event will bring together our LVAIC community -- faculty, librarians, and other educators invested in information literacy as critical thinking.

Planned sessions from librarians and faculty in the sciences, social sciences, and humanities will focus on building campus community around information literacy, integrating information literacy in the classroom, new perspectives on student research, and uncovering information literacy in assignments.

Join us for presentations, workshops, and panel discussions to explore successes and challenges in information literacy teaching and learning and inspire intercampus dialog about our future information literacy teaching practices.

Register for the symposium now. Deadline to register is May 4. Lunch and a light breakfast will be provided. There is no registration fee, as this event has been funded by LVAIC. Space is limited so register early!
