Mail server upgrade 11/1/14: Upgraded Lehigh webmail

This is message 3 regarding changes to the Lehigh email server effective 11/1/14

Who should read this?

Anyone who reads their Lehigh mail at imp.lehigh.edu, or lehigh.edu/imp or webmail.lehigh.edu is affected. Lehigh Gmail users are not affected.

Lehigh Webmail will soon have a new, improved interface

The new webmail system includes many features such as:

• Improved performance (faster)
• Intuitive interface
• Drag and drop message management
• Canned response templates
• Find-as-you-type address book
• Robust search features
• Support for over 70 languages

When will this happen?

The upgrade to webmail will occur on Saturday, November 1, 2014
Lehigh Webmail will be available at webmail.lehigh.edu.

As an alternative to webmail, LTS recommends people who are using the legacy mail service move to Lehigh Gmail for enhanced security, spam protection, and storage. LTS staff are available to help you make this transition smoothly.
