Safety Recall - Power Cord Hazard for HP Notebooks and PCs

HP has announced a voluntary recall and replacement program for certain AC power cords shipped with HP/Compaq notebooks and other devices. The affected power cords have the potential to overheat, posing a fire and burn hazard.

HP will provide a replacement, free of charge, to customers with these power cords.
