Changes in Microsoft software on campus and for Lehigh students

Over the summer, Microsoft Office, Project, and Visio were upgraded to version 2013 on Windows computers in classrooms and at public sites. These new versions are also available to faculty, staff and students from on or off campus via the virtual public site. Faculty and staff have the option of upgrading from version 2010 to version 2013 on their office Windows computers. For Mac users, Office 2011 is the current version.

For work-at-home use, faculty and staff may purchase Microsoft Office, Project, Visio and Windows operating system upgrades for their personally-owned computers. The software is available at the Lehigh bookstore for $15.

This summer, students became eligible for Microsoft's Office 365 Pro Plus, a subscription-based service built around the Office application platform. Office 365 replaced the student portion of the current Microsoft Campus Agreement which required students to purchase the software on DVD at the Lehigh bookstore.

Library and Technology Services is pleased to offer the latest version of Microsoft software to the campus and to faculty and staff for work-at-home-use.
