Date: Tue, 27 Oct 98 13:33:19 -0500 From: Nick Kuhn I would like to encourage interested topologists to apply for our various positions at the University of Virginia. (Info from our two listings with EIMS is below.) Positions of both sorts could conceivably go to topologists. The "final budgetary approval" seems to have just happened: various deans and the provost have recently signed off a plan that has the department growing by a number of positions in the next years as we pick up Engineering School math teaching. Regular appointments could conceivably be at any level. Please note also that our Whyburn postdoc positions are now to last 3 years (they were 2).
