 the current state of the art on
the final hidden face problem of the Bott-Taubes-Kontsevich approach
to Vasiliev invariants appears to be
a paper by Su-Win Yang (q-alg/9709029) which has apparently solved the
problem.
It is somewhat difficult to read!
Anyone checked it out thoroughly?
