This 180-degree panorama looks west from the Jubilee
Tower, atop Moel Fammau (Mother Mountain) in the Clwydian
Range, near Ruthin. This stone pyramid was erected in 1810 to
mark the 50th anniversary of the rule of George III, but it was
never completed. It was restored in 1970 and a set of toposcopes
(the metal plates visible here) were installed showing the places
visible from the top, including Snowdon (middle of the photo),
35 miles west. At 1,820 feet, Moel Fammau is the highest point
in the Clwydians. Scroll to the right >>>>>>>
