Day Twelve - 9 miles, 500 feet ascent

Blakey to Glaisdale

The walk from Blakey to Glaisdale is short and mostly downhill. It crosses more high moors, then descends Glaisdale Rigg into the village.
It's in Glaisdale that the path joins the River Esk. I'd suggest continuing on as far as Grosmont instead of stopping at Glaisdale to shorten the final day's trek into Robin Hood's Bay.
