Troop Meetings

The troop meets on Thursdays between 7:00pm and 8:30pm in New Fellowship Hall at Hope Lutheran Church in Cherryville. Scouts should arrive at least five minutes early since opening ceremonies begin promptly at 7:00pm. Scouts should bring their Handbook to each meeting.

The Service Patrol, listed on the troop calendar, should arrive at 6:30pm to set up the meeting room. The Service Patrol is also responsible for planning an activity/game for the meeting.

Meetings will not be held on Holy Thursday, during summer camp, on the last Thursday in October (Jack Frost Parade), Thanksgiving day, or between Christmas and New Years.

Patrol Leader Council Meeting

New Fellowship Hall

The Patrol Leaders Council meets the first Thursday of each month at 6:00 pm SHARP! The Patrol Leaders, with the Senior Patrol Leader as their head, form the Patrol Leader's Council. It is the Council's job to plan and run the troop program. It is the Patrol Leader's job to represent his patrol on the Council, and to interpret to his patrol the plans and decisions the Council makes.

All Patrol Leaders and Instructors are expected to attend or send a representative, and to bring a notebook and pencil.

North Valley District Roundtable

The
North Valley District Roundtable Meeting is held the second Wednesday of each month at Lehigh County Community College.

Upcoming district activities are discussed. All adult leaders are invited to attend.

Troop Committee Meeting

Hope Lutheran Church

The Troop Committee meets the third Tuesday of each month in the back room of Hanson Hall (old fellowship hall). All adult leaders and interested parents are welcome to attend.

The Troop Committee supports the troop program and handles troop administration.

Family Night - Court of Honor

Courts of Honor are generally held bi-monthly in February, April, June, August, October and December - normally the last Thursday of the month, except occasional adjustments for holidays, such as October (Halloween) and December (Christmas) in which case the Family night is one week before the holiday. During Courts of Honor, scouts are awarded rank advancements, merit badges and activity patches.

The Court of Honor is a family event. Information of special interest to parents is always presented. There are also skits, songs, demonstrations, or special guest speakers.
