Set 2: ODE/DAE/PDE Applications
A set of ODE/DAE/PDE applications in transportable Fortran
is available in the following areas: (a) physics,
(b) applied mathematics, and (c) environmental systems.
All of these applications are written in a common format
explained in Schiesser, W. E.,
The Numerical Method of Lines Integration of
Partial Differential Equations , Academic
Press, San Diego (1991) and Schiesser, W. E.,
Computational Mathematics in Engineering
and Applied Science: ODEs, DAEs, and PDEs,
CRC Press, Boca Raton (1994); a list of the application
titles is given in an appendix of these books.
Requests for the Fortran source code of the applications,
written on a DOS-formatted CD, and mailed first class
in the US, or by international air mail outside the US,
