I got it installed and working, but it would have helped me to add a couple of things to the instructions. 1. "make" may fail if "/usr/bin" isn't in the user's path, so in that case use "/usr/bin/make" instead. 2. The output from "make" includes a few dozen warnings, mainly about discrepancies between signs, but the installation works anyway. 3. The "make test" step must be executed in an X11 window, not a Terminal window, in order for the testing to succeed. ====================================================================================================================== Thank you v much for your page on how to install Perl Tk. For the Tiger section (near the top), may I suggest adding these two hints to help people along? 1. Put the Tk-804.027 directory at the top level (/) 2. You must install the XcodeTools from the Tiger CD before you try to install Tk thanks again!
