Research Interests

Current research interests include the mechanical behavior of copper films for integrated circuit interconnects, the mechanical behavior of platinum films for oxide perovskite DRAM applications, interface characterization and adhesion in microelectronic packaging, modeling of microstructure development and reliability of integrated circuit materials, fatigue behavior of materials for MicroElectroMechanical Systems (MEMS), and development of novel glass substrates for DNA array chips.
