Manages the operation of two central heating and refrigeration plants and a 69/12kV electrical substation along with the related overhead/underground distribution system.

Directs the supply of technical services for University HVAC operation and maintenance, including DDC implementation.  

Plans and coordinates all University utility-related construction and maintenance. 

Negotiates with suppliers of utility services for the competitive supply of natural gas, electricity, fuel oil, and water.  

Acts as University's representative with regulatory agencies and local utility companies. Work with consulting engineers to obtain necessary operational permits and ensure compliance with all applicable Fed/State/Local rules and regulations.  

Maintains financial integrity of Facilities Services through oversight of operating budgets, long-range financial planning, and capital reserve management.
