Hong, Liangjie
Hong, Liangjie is a PhD student in Department of Computer Science and Engineering at Lehigh University.
His research interests include social media, web mining, information retrieval and social network.
He began his PhD study since August, 2007 and became a member of WUME lab from 2008. His advisor is Associate Professor Brian D. Davison.
Now, he lives in Bethlehem, PA, a small town not far from both New York City and Philadelphia.
Before coming to Lehigh University, Liangjie received his B.S. in Computer Science and Technology at Beijing University of Chemical Technology.

Previous Life
Before college life, Liangjie lived in Chengdu, the capital city of Sichuan Province in mainland China since 1985. He received elementary school education in HongZhuanXiLu Primary School Of Chengdu. In 1997, he entered YuCai Middle School for 3 years. After that, Liangjie stepped into Chengdu No.7 Middle School
(high school).
In 2003, Liangjie entered Beijing University of Chemical Technology for his undergraduate study. He left his hometown and lived in Beijing for four years.
Liangjie has a wide range of interests and hobbies. In his spare time, he likes to read books, listen to classical music and play piano. He is also very interested in philosophy and arts.
