I serve on the Dean's Research Council for the College of Arts and Sciences and was 2010 chair of the Campbell Prize committee. I am the clerk/newsletter editor for the law and policy division of the Association for Education in Journalism and Mass Communication and frequently review book manuscripts and papers for journals and conferences affiliated with AEJMC and the International Communication Association. I am Webmaster for the journalism and communication department. I was one of ten recipients of a grant from the Liberty Tree Initiative and successfully put on "Lehigh Celebrates the First!" -- a semester-long celebration of free speech rights held in the fall of 2009.
