The Epitome has been distinguished with countless awards and special recognition over the years. Some of the most prestigious awards are listed below:

Premier Print Awards
Recipient: 2003, 2001, and 2000 Epitome yearbooks
In its 54th year, the Premier Print Awards is the oldest, largest and most prestigious international graphic arts competition in the world. Sponsored by the Printing Industries of America, the award recognizes those companies that produce the best in print media and display a commitment to quality through their work.

DaVor Gallery Awards
Feature Yearbook: Feb. 2001, Jan. 2002
Although DaVor is a photography company, its representatives take great pride in assisting clients create the best designs possible. In order to better facilitate this effort, DaVor started an online gallery as a medium for editors and advisers to view some of the best layouts from other schools. Yearbooks featured in the gallery include those of Boston University, the United States Naval Academy and even the Pennsylvania State Police.

Associated Collegiate Press Awards
2nd Class Finish: 1993; 3rd Class Finish: 1989
Since 1927, ACPís Pacemaker competition has been considered by many to be student journalismís highest honor. The ACP it is the largest and oldest membership organization for college student media in the nation. As a nonprofit educational membership association, the organization prides itself on helping members by providing professional services.
