  • Lehigh University's Computing Center
    This is very basic.
  • Kermit Software at Columbia University
    This is a bit fancier, but still just FTP interpreted by a web browser.
  • Info-Mac Hypertext Archive at MIT
    This is pretty fancy, using the web exclusively instead of FTP.
  • Microlib Archive at the University of Texas at Austin
    This is very fancy, mixing web and gopher and ftp.
  • University of Texas Mac Archive
    Not as complex, but most attractive of all, a mix of web and FTP.
  • A Form-Based Web Gateway to an Archie Search
    Basically, almost anything's possible..."

• Examples of Miscellaneous Services:
  • Electronic Mail (to Doug Reese) via "mailto"
    This is likely to work only on Netscape.
  • Electronic Mail (to Doug Reese) via CGI-script
    This should work on any browser that can handle forms.
  • Usenet News (the newsgroup "news.answers")
    The browser must be configured to go to a local news server for this to work.
